Ms. Carradus’ art students had an exciting day exploring creative possibilities at Hawkeye Community College’s Explore the Arts Day!
Students toured campus facilities and got an inside look at programs like Digital Mass Media, Graphic Design, Professional Photography, Fine Arts & Performing Arts, and Music. They also learned about a wide range of creative careers and what it takes to pursue them.
Throughout the day, students jumped into hands-on experiences—contributing to a collaborative mural, participating in improv, directing and acting in a multi-camera skit, producing tracks in a professional recording studio, and taking on roles as models, technicians, and photographers in studio settings.
This marks the second year GHS students have attended this inspiring event, and it continues to be an incredible opportunity to explore the arts in action!
