After school TODAY in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Students Against Sexual Assault (SASA) will be showing the film “Brave Miss World” in the Media Center and having an open discussion afterward. Everyone is welcome!
Yearbook: Seniors (parents) there is still time to run a Recognition Ad for your seniors in the 2018-19 yearbook. Prices vary depends on size of your ad. This offer is available until May 1.

Boys’ golf results: Grinnell finished 3rd in a triangular vs. Pella & Osky. Cole McGriff led Grinnell with a 41.
Girls’ golf team won the 12-team Oskaloosa Invitational with a score of 372. Bella Amador-Lacson was medalist with a 84. This win moves the Tiger record to 17-0.
The varsity girls’ tennis team lost to Indianola Thursday 5-6. JV girls’ tennis lost to Indianola 6-9.

2019 GHS Color Guard Information: The Grinnell High School Marching Band will be holding tryouts for the 2019 Color Guard. The colorguard, also known as the “flags”, adds a visual aspect to the band’s performance with flags and other props and dance routines. Practices for the tryouts will be held before school Tuesday, April 23 through Friday, April 26. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 8:00 a.m. Please email Mr. Dressler @ firstname.lastname@example.org to let him know of your intent to audition. Please meet in the GHS Band Room at 6:50 a.m. starting April 23 for the practice sessions. All current 9th through 11th grade students are eligible to audition. Anyone needing more information about the 2019 Color Guard is asked to see or email Mr. Dressler for more information.
The Outdoor Program will be hosting a campout on May 11-12 in the Grinnell area. If you are interested, please sign up at Mrs. Scheck's room (60). The campout will go from 8:00 am Saturday, May 11 till 10:00 am Sunday, May 12. At the campout, there will be some skills classes such as fire building, summer shelter building, Navigation, cooking and more. There is no cost and deadline to sign up will be Thursday, May 9th.
