Tickets for the fall play Sense and Sensibility are on sale now:


If purchasing online tickets is not an option for you please contact Lindsey Peck, or you can purchase tickets at the ticket booth the night of the play.


9-12 boys planning on going out for basketball this winter need to sign up outside the main gym by Friday, October 29th. If you have any questions please stop by and

speak with Coach Faulkner. 


Please join us for Parent Teacher Conferences TODAY from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and tomorrow from 8:00 AM to Noon.  Students will be dismissed today at 12:40 and lunch

will be provided for students who choose to stay after 6th period. No school tomorrow. 

Parents may sign up for your choice of conference formats:

Attention Senior Families: Thanks to a generous grant from Theisen’s, Poweshiek County ICAN will be doing an in-person FAFSA Completion Event at Grinnell High School,

on Tuesday, Oct. 26, from 1:00-8:00 p.m. The event will be held in the GHS Counseling Office. The appointments will be only 30 minutes long, so to ensure that your

FAFSA can be completed and submitted during that time, you will need to be prepared when you come to your appointment. You must have an appointment for this

event. You can sign up for an appointment at: www.icansucceed.org/apt-fafsaevent. Scroll down through the events until you see the one for our school, then click on

that and choose your appointment time. If you have questions be sure to contact the counseling office In case this date or the available times don’t work for you, you can

also book an individual appointment, virtual or in-person, with ICAN at a date/time of your choosing by going to www.icansucced.org/apt  OR by calling them at




Poweshiek County Voters: There's an election coming up! Grinnell city government elections & Grinnell-Newburg school board elections take place on November 2nd.

Order your 2021-2022 yearbook today!!! Yearbooks will be on sale the month of October for $60. Beginning November 1st, the cost goes up to $75. 

There are two ways to order your yearbook:

The Grinnell Food Coalition is packaging meals from Meals From the Heartland on Friday, Oct. 22. Shifts are one hour from 9:30am-10:30am and 10:40-11:40am. If you
