The Grinnell Historical Museum will be having a work day to clean old tools. If you are available to help, it will be this Saturday from 9:00 am to Noon at the new museum location, 703 First Avenue in Grinnell. This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours. Be sure to take your volunteer sheet!
The Invisible Closet here at school has clothing and personal care items for students who may be in need of assistance. We have a variety of sizes of jeans, sweat pants, t-shirts and sweatshirts. If you are in need of a coat, those will be hanging by the front door for a few more weeks. Please help yourself. If you need an item from the Invisible Closet, please see Ms. LeBahn, Ms. Barker in the ILC or any of the staff in the Counseling Office. Donations are also always welcome-bring them to Ms LeBahn in the Counseling office.
The Herff-Jones representative will be here during lunch on Wednesday, December 13th. If you are placing an order, be sure to turn it into him at that time. If you are on open campus, at a college class or otherwise not in the building during lunch please turn your order into Ms. Werner before Wednesday.
Need to serve detentions? You can serve them on Mondays & Tuesdays after school in Room 85 (Ms. Barker) or Wednesdays & Thursdays in Room 73 (Mr. Peterson).
Parents and guardians can call the recorded attendance line any time 24 hours a day. The number is 641-236-1414. An automated email will be sent every Friday as a reminder to check your students’ attendance online to ensure that it’s correct.
