Summer Enrichment Opportunity  We will offer a series of academic and social experiences that span a variety of hobbies and interests while challenging students to reach beyond their academic school year to enhance their education. The great news is that it is offered to every student at the middle school. It can very much be described as an opportunity to learn more beyond the typical classroom curriculum. The program will begin on June 5th at 8:00 am and run until 11:30 am. The last day of the program will be on June 28. The program will run Monday-Friday except the first week, which will be Wednesday through Friday.  Please us this link to sign up Sign up

Yearbooks are in!!!! Purchase online or in the office! The cost is $17.00!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

As we finish the school year and get ready for summer, it is important to continue to take care of ourselves. Our STRIVE theme for the month of May is Self-Care.  If you have any questions or needs regarding mental health for you or your family, please reach out to the student support staff: Ms. McDermott, Ms. Simon or Mrs. Miller. They are here to help.

Parents/Guardians: Shoes for the Sole is a new program funded by 100+ People Who Care that is meant to support GMS students in need of a quality pair of shoes. An $80 coupon redeemable at Brown's Shoe Store in Grinnell is available for parents/guardians to purchase shoes for their child. If your student would benefit from a pair of shoes, please contact Amy Miller at amy.miller@grinnell-k12.org or 641-236-2782 for more information.
