Happy Friday!
Congratulations to our Grinnell Tiger Football Team on their Homecoming win Friday night! The stands on both sides were full with 748 admission tickets sold for the game. Way to come support your Tigers!
This week we showed our appreciation to our Maintenance and Custodian team. I thought it best to bring Shawn Edelen our Maintenance Director to the table for this Friday’s video to highlight some of the great work they’ve accomplished over the past few months.

Grinnell-Newburg School Foundation - “Where We Belong”
GNSF released their “Where We Belong” video in celebration of Homecoming 2023 last week. This was in celebration of the great staff and students in the Grinnell Newburg Community Schools. If you haven’t already, click the link HERE to view their video demonstrating why Grinnell is where you belong!
Public Health Flu Clinic: Grinnell
Public Health will host its flu vaccine clinic at Grinnell-Newburg CSD High School gymnasium from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Monday, October 23rd.

Above and Beyond Award
At the Board meeting, we recognized Bill Gruman,GNCSD Technology Integrationist, and his Robotics students for their problem-solving, creativity, and willingness to help this summer with the Access Points and new EverAlert system at all school buildings. Grinnell-Newburg CSD is lucky to have Bill as a leader for our Robotics program!

Grinnell City Offices and Grinnell School Board Forums
The Grinnell League of Women Voters and the Grinnell Chamber of Commerce will be holding a forum for Grinnell City Offices at Drake Library on Tuesday, October 17, and a Grinnell School Board forum on Monday, October 23. For more information check out the flyer here.
