Weekly Update: July 6, 2018
I hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July Celebration this week! This week has been rather quiet around the District Office. This afforded me some time to catch up on goal setting, document reviews and various paperwork. We all need weeks like this to get organized and this was perfect timing. I am also working on an informational flyer for parents that will outline safety and security measures at each of our schools. This will be sent out to a small committee for review over the summer. I hope to have the flyer sent to the committee for feedback by next week.
Upcoming Board Meeting:
There will be a meeting of the Board of Education on Wednesday July 11, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the High School. This week’s agenda will focus on the contract process with our newly selected engineer firm, third reading of the 900 policies, sale of the old buses, replacement mower equipment, and replacement of some heat pumps at the Middle School.
