Weekly What’s Going Well:
Happy October! I hope this weekly update finds you and your family enjoying the cooler weather. This week we celebrated Grinnell's Homecoming which is an exciting time for our students, staff, and community. We wish our football team the best of luck tonight!
Grinnell-Newburg Dollars for Scholars hosted their annual Dogs for Dollars Event after the Homecoming Parade yesterday. It’s their biggest fundraiser of the year and their mission is to offer educational opportunities for Grinnell Community Senior High students through scholarships and academic support. Thank you to those members and to the Grinnell Community who show support for their mission.
Today alone our Food Service provided 272 breakfast meals and 902 lunches to our students. At Grinnell Newburg Community Schools we recognize the importance of student nutrition and the vital role it plays in each student’s success.
Reminder there will be no school on Monday, October 9th as it is a Professional Development Day for our staff.
