Weekly Update: January 18, 2019
Dear Grinnell-Newburg Board of Education, Staff, Families, and Friends:
I would like to thank our community for participating in the listening tours during the months of December and January. I am grateful for all of those citizens who participated in this event. Please let us know if you would like your business, church group, or community group to host a listening session. We are happy to schedule this event to continue to gather input.
Our next step is to form an ADHOC committee that will meet with our Architects, Estes Construction representatives, administration, staff and various representatives from several community groups to discuss options for the community to consider. This committee will take into account all suggestions and put costs to those projects. The options will be narrowed to 4-5 scenarios that will be presented to the community for feedback, prior to any consideration for a bond vote. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact Amber Robson at 641-236-2700 or email her at amber.robson@grinnell-k12.org.
We are aware of the impending weather forecast for today and will be watching it closely.
