Davis Highlights:

We are excited at Davis to get our Sensory Path hallway set up!!!! Sensory paths are creative pathways designed to help children build connections in their brains responsible for sight, touch, sound, etc. We are excited to be able to have children start using this at our building and we are excited to add to this hallway in the future with more sensory paths!

More GHS Highlights:

Upcoming Board Agenda:

The Board of Education will host their reorganization meeting on Wednesday. Following the reorganizational meeting, the principals and I will share our State of the District, staffing recommendations for next year, seek our at Risk Grant approval, take a look at the first draft of the calendar. More items for approval can be found on the Board Agenda that is posted on our website.

This is the time of year when I begin to reflect upon our progress and share our story about Grinnell and how special it is to be a part of an amazing school district and community. I know at times we have our challenges, but in the end, we roll up our sleeves and find ways to navigate toward positive outcomes. I am grateful for our dedicated staff, Board, parents, partnerships, and students.
