Dear Grinnell Board of Education, Staff, Families, and Friends:
Happy June! The summer is officially here, and I hope you have all found some time to gear up for summer fun! The weekly update will be a little sporadic over the summer months, and we will send out essential information twice a month for families as we head into the fall session. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions or concerns about our upcoming school year.
Summer Hours:
This summer, the District Office hours will be Monday-Thursday 7:30-3:30 PM and by appointment on Fridays. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns over the summer months. District Office will be closed on July 4, 2022.
Summer hours will run from June 6 to August 8. School buildings will be closed from July 4 to July 22 and will reopen on July 25. Any business during this time should go through the District Office.
Online Registration is now open for the 2022-2023 school year!
Please take a moment to complete the registration process over the summer months. We will be hosting a registration night to assist anyone who may need guidance through the process. More information will be forthcoming about this event held in August. We have about 59% of our families who have completed the process!
All of our students need to be officially registered on Infinite Campus, our student information system; click HERE to begin the online registration process. You will want to select new student if you have never attended our district. Make sure to select the 22-23 school year. Once you complete the registration, please reach out to me for your activation code for your parent portal account setup if you do not have one.
If you have a current parent portal account, you can log in and register through your portal account. To access your parent portal, click here. Please note that your Preschool and/or Kindergarten student(s) may not show up in the student section. If you have them listed in the "nonenrolled section," there is a box you can mark to register this student. If you have other children in the district, please update their information for the 22-23 school year as well. We need every student to have their information updated and online registration completed.

SLICK reminder:
Summer SLICK begins on June 6, 2022, at Davis Elementary School. Families will be receiving an information letter with all of the details from Mr. Conway and Ms. York in the coming days.
